CTIA

This years CTIA was not as busy as last year but never the less a big event.
Most Keynotes was about the explosion in data traffic and how the fixed price model for that doesn´t work. Almost every carrier want to start charge the customers based on use instead of a fixed price. Because of limits in tech it is not possible to handle the growth in data traffic without raising prices.
Apps and web is of course the driver in this explosion. Social apps like Facebook, Youtube and Flickr are the most used apps. Mail is the most used business app.

The wipjam that we sponsored this year showed up to be a success, the event was fully booked and many on the waiting list

We had loads of great sessions about the mobile app eco system and how to take part in it. As always one of the topics was cross platform development. Some manufactures like Motorola now limits the amount of new phones they put out. Motorola decided to go for only one smart phone device (Click). Many argued against but some thought this was a logical thing.

Caroline and Teresa did a fantastic job keeping the everyone happy and active.
