Touch in Android

Hi.

Is the touch supported properly on MAUI?
I checked the TweetMos client, but it has keyboard-only oriented UI, even on Android and Windows Phone targets.

Also, would iPhone support touch via the MAUI as well, or the best course of action is waiting for the new UI framework?

Thanks again.

Hello!

No, not yet. However, we are currently working on improving MAUI. MoSync Beta 2.4 (scheduled for September 15), will have a new mechanism named Input Policies enabling keypad/touch support out of the box.

Regarding the question about touch support on the iPhone, you will be able to use MAUI to do fully touch based iPhone apps.

1) Good to know. Is there any preview available for this now - maybe in trunk?

2) About MAUI - can I use it now for iPhone, or better to wait for Input Policies?

Regards.

As we in 15 September already, when the 2.4 versions with iPhone support is expected to be announced?

Thanks.

Hi.

Any news about the next version?

I would really like to give it a try, but can't start working with it, until there is a good support for iPhone and Android touch UI.

Thanks for any info.
