Hey, I'd be delighted to help you through your first mobile app, and I'm interested in knowing how I can improve the tutorials. I can do a one-to-one screen sharing session with you if you want me to help build your first application. What kind of thing do you want it to do?

There isn't a physical book on MoSync yet. Read the tutorials and docs in the links that Alex posted, and I'll help you out with specific problems if you need it.

I an new at MoSync and have not programmed for about 15 years. I am self taught in Assembly, C, C++ and have cell phone apps ideas that I would love to implement. My main question is my app ideas are voice oriented. Is MoSync the language to use and if so where can I find information on voice apps. I have had these ideas for about 10 or so years and have not seem them developed yet so I would like to write them or find someone to help write them. Where do I go from here.

Hi, honestly, MoSync probably isn't the tool that you want. MoSync doesn't have access to the voice channel in phone calls, nor does it have access to the microphone as a stream. This means that you can't use it to create VOIP applications or conference call apps. If you want to do automatic processes based on voice, then you may want to think about doing that on the network anyway.

What was the app you wanted to build?

The voice apps basics are a call to voice apps allready used by the phone and using them in a different way. I don't know if that is an easy thing to do or do I need to brush up on my programming languages that I have not used for about 15 years.
