Does vibration on your phone work properly outside of MoSync? If not, you may have encountered what seems to be a common problem with the HTC HD. This site has a potential solution.
Unfortunately, we don't have an HTC HD ourselves, so we can't really test it very well. Perhaps you can help us.
Which version of MoSync are you using? What exactly happens when you call maVibrate()? What is the function's return value?
If you run a recent nightly build and check "Use debug runtimes" in Eclipse, a log file will be produced on your phone. It would be helpful if you could transfer that file from your phone and attach it here.

Vibration seems to work fine on the Phone(I mean it works when the phone rings or when a button is pressed).
