Latin text app

My old latin teacher and I have long talked about making an app where you can select an auther, then pick a text (or book then the text you need)

unfortunately both of us are new to the art of app making and program coding.

Can anyone help us with a few points how to do this.

Don't open new windows, it

Don't open new windows, it doesn't work well on mobile as navigating back is difficult.  On your iPhone, go to http://www.jqtouch.com and select 'preview'.  This will show you the demo of JQTouch, and you can get an idea about what is available.

Hi, HTML is great at

Hi, HTML is great at formatting text, so I should think that a MoSync HTML5 Reload project would be great for you.  There are some great starting places using HTML5 and frameworks like KendoUI, JQueryMobile or JQTouch which would make the menus really easy, and the latin text in HTML format.  Do you have the texts?  If you look at the LoveSMS example application, then that has JQTouch built in.  Do you know any HTML?
