Installation on Windows 8

I've just installed the MoSync on Windows 8 inside the VMWare Player. Most seems to be fine except for a couple of things so far:

1. Although I have created HTML5/JS Project with the WebUI I still was getting 'Unable to display for the project uses the NativeUI" when attempting to run the project in the MoSync's simulator of android.

2. I was not able to register the MoSync installation. I am getting the "Invalid key. Can not continue" message in the registration tab.

The WebUI is based on

The WebUI is based on NativeUI.  It uses the native WebView control to render the HTML.

Thanks, I did understand that

Thanks,

I did understand that MoSync emulator doesn't show NativeUI. That is why I selected the html5/js with WebUI. I assume that thml5/js with WebUI projects should display in tshe MoSync emulater. Yet, I am getting the error refering to NativeUI. Why?

Hi, the MoSync emulator

Hi, the MoSync emulator doesn't show NativeUI.  You need to install the Android emulators (the SDK) from Google.  MoSync will use that emulator instead.

We're going to have to look at the registration error.  Let us get used to Windows 8.
