I am sure some of you have noticed the forum has been going up/down for past few hours. I am sorry for that.

I think its nice if we have "Announcements Box" on top of the Board Index to display all of announcements. Because not all of users will notice any announcements that posted on the forum. With this approach i am sure all of users will see all of the announcements :)

Good point. Thanks for doing up a mockup so I can sell the idea. :D
There is an existing announcement forum for that purpose, but i can probably think about how to best make announcements more visible than now.

For those few sharp guys who noticed.. forum went down again for around 10 mins for a security update. :)
