Creating a JAD file for your compiled code

If you are distrubiting your compiled code, you may need to create a JAD file.

I've found that JADMaker is free and very easy to use - http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Telephony-SMS-GSM/JADMaker.shtml

Hi Rival,

It's should already create a JAD, I'll check with the team, and get back later.

In the next release of MoSync, MoBuild will generate JAD files.

Hi, i am a mosync noobie, so sorry for not searching deeper. I want to create a J2ME app (just a dummy/example) and deploy it to an SHARP J2ME Phone named SH6230C it features a JBlend flavor of Java. If i try to deploy it OTA via WEB, it downloads the JAD & JAR, asks for unsigned permission but then after downloading and installing refuses with some "not enough permissions" error. it fails the installation process.

Is it a phone specific thing? I can get an SSL signing key that would eliminate the first dialog. I am not sure if its just a switch I need to set to get more permissions to that app or how i require an app to get that permission.

That phone is not listed in the device database. When I find the information screen again I will provide full software version information.
