cant install helloworld into my Nokia 5500

Hi

just compiled the HelloWorld example for my Nokia 5500 and downloaded it to the phone via Nokia PC Suite. Everything went well untill my phone told me that the application is not signed and I should contact the writer of the application. I'm aware that Nokia (and maybe other phone makers too) want to sign application they sell through for example Nokia Ovi portal but I have no idea how to sign my own apps for development purpose.

Any help would be appreciated

To enable installation of unsigned applications onto your phone, go to Tools -> Application Manager -> Settings and change Software Installation from Signed Only to All. This procedure should work for any phone that runs Symbian, except for some operator-branded devices that may have disabled the option.

To sign your application for distribution, go to https://www.symbiansigned.com/.
