build problems

Hi,

Some problems.

I copied one of the examples in eclipse, and made copy of advanced graphics demo,
it builds intermittantly.

Sometimes the emu crashes then the next build fails.

When I finally get a build I install to a n95, it works, but the second time I install
it fails to install, saying it cant stop a program.

Sometimes you cant select a phone in the phone browser, everything goes gray.

Most frustrating.

one more thing,

if you click on debug in the debug menu, something breaks.

Hi Colin,

Can you let me know what errors you are getting when building the Advanced Graphics demo, and whether you've got another copy of GCC installed on your machine?

Thanks

oh theres more,

if you run in dubug without the debug libraries, the emu starts, but fails to close, this seems
to stop other parts of the system working when you do you next build.

When I click the use debug runtimes checkbox, the debugger still fails to work.

Build setting does'nt seem to include any actual libraries to change to debug libraries.

Hi Rival,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I have no other versions of gcc on my computer.

I guess the most annoy thing is that, when I try to debug I get a error message,
but its after the emu has started, the emu stops responding (hangs) preventing me from building
my code again, I have to force quit the emu.

Surely the emu should shut down gracefully.

I've never needed to change libraries when I debug on any other devkit, just seems stupid
to start doing it now.

Sorry for my impatient words, I'm just trying to evaluate the product for use in a project
I've got coming up.
